Holy Week

Holy Week is the week leading up to Easter. It begins with waving palm branches on Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter, and continues
through Holy Saturday. During the week, we journey with Jesus through his last week on earth, remembering the Last Supper on Maundy
Thursday and his trial and crucifixion on Good Friday.

  • Palm Passion Service

Sunday, April 9, 6:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church

Join us for a combined choral presentation based on two psalms, as we prepare for
    Holy Week.

  • Family Holy Week Experience

Wednesday, April 12, 6:00 pm in Blackwood Hall. Families with children and youth are invited to join us for a Holy Week Experience for
your family. This service will walk through and give meaning to the events in the last week of Jesus' life in an interactive and meaningful way.

  • Maundy Thursday

Thursday, April 13, 6:00 pm in Digby Center

Join us for "dinner church" as we remember Jesus' last meal with his Disciples. We will share a meal together, listen for God's word in scripture, hear a message and share stories with one another. No RSVP necessary.

  • Good Friday

Journey through the last days of Jesus' life by visiting stations throughout the garden.  These stations are come-and-go between the hours at 6:00 and 8:00 pm. It will likely take about 30 minutes to walk through all the stations. Please note that the stations will be moved inside if it rains.
